Project Description:

Making CAKES is an entrepreneurial business.  The Cakes will be made and be sold to the people who make functions such as wedding parties, graduation parties, Anniversary parties, birth day parties, dinner parties, cocktail and farewell parties.

Cakes are highly demanded by people in our area, as there is always functions that require cakes .most people travel long distances looking for cakes and yet we have skills to make good quality cakes but we are only lacking startup capital and startup equipment.

The business will also be making small cakes like queen cakes for students and pupils to buy on daily basis since our business will be located near 3 colleges and 2 primary schools. Therefore, our business is likely to attract many customers because of the food hygiene that will be practiced and the good quality of cakes that will be produced

The business will be able to make a profit of USHS 17500 equivalent to $5 on daily basis and in a month the business will be able to make a profit of USHS 525000 equivalent to $150

In order to promote our products and keeping the business running we shall make sure that we do the following:

-By making good quality so that it attracts peoples’ attention

-Through radio advertisement 

-Applying customer care in the business

-Applying food hygiene and personal hygiene

Who Benefits from the Project?

The group members will benefit as the primary beneficiary and the community members will benefit as the secondary beneficiary. The community members will benefit through extending services/products like quality cakes nearer to them and some of the community members near the production area will get skills in pastry.
